Cops: Riverhead man caught driving drunk in Hampton Bays
A 27-year-old Riverhead man was arrested for driving drunk in Hampton Bays early Sunday, Southampton Town police said.
Adelso De Paz was pulled over for a traffic violation about 3:20 a.m., according to a police statement. An officer found he was drunk and arrested him at the scene.
Mr. De Paz was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and held at police headquarters for a morning arraignment.
