Laura L. Campbell

Laura L. Campbell of Riverhead died Aug. 10 at Peconic Bay Medical Center. She was 79 years old.

She was born Aug. 8, 1934, in Farmingdale to Felix and Edna (Botsch) Triafaro. After graduating from high school, she became a homemaker. Family members said she enjoyed painting glassware and ceramics, knitting and crocheting.

Ms. Campbell is survived by her brothers, Charles Everding of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Paul Everding of Indiana. She was predeceased by her loving partner, Richard Cahill, and special friends Nick and Cheryl Luparella.

Arrangements were handled by McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A memorial Mass will take place Friday, Aug. 16, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment of cremains will follow at the church cemetery.
