Riverhead Justice Court roundup: Sept. 9-11

There were 289 cases on the docket in Riverhead Town Justice Richard Ehlers’ court Sept. 9-11. The following are among those adjudicated.

• Walfre Milian, 22, of Charles Street in Riverhead pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

• Alexander Hands, 20, of Hillcrest Drive in Orient pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired, reduced from driving while ability impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was fined $660 and given a 90-day suspension of his license.

• Peter Helinski, 19, of Middle Road in Cutchogue pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired, reduced from DWI, and was fined $500 and given a 90-day suspension of his license.

• Dwayne Davender, 24, of Phillips Street in Riverhead pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, reduced from seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $250.

• Charges including third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and acting in a manner injurious to a child against Dayna Barrow, 31, of Flanders Road in Riverside were dismissed in town court as he was indicted in county court.

• A DWI charge against Ismain Velasquez-Hernandez, 29, of Union Avenue in Riverhead was dismissed in town court as he was indicted in county court.

• A DWI charge against Nathaniel Lemons, 41, of West Main Street in Riverhead was dismissed in town court as he was indicted in county court.
