liveblogThe Riverhead Town Board on Tuesday voted to adopt the final scope for the draft supplemental generic environmental impact statement and reuse and revitalization plan for town land at the Enterprise Park at Calverton.

The vote passed 4-0, with Councilwoman Jodi Giglio abstaining.

The documents outline how best to plan and accurately assess the environmental impacts of the town’s proposed 50-lot subdivision at the former Grumman site referred to now as EPCAL.

The board had held a hearing in July, when the initial ‘scoping’ documents were first released.

Reporter Paul Squire reported live from the meeting.
