Troopers on patrol spotted Rosemary Brown, age 48, and Michael Lerhinan, age 57, “acting suspiciously” near the roadside attraction shortly after 11 p.m., when they stopped them and found them to be in possession of crack cocaine, according to a police report.

Mr. Lerhinan was found to be in possession of felony weight crack cocaine, while Ms. Brown was found to possess articles that contained cocaine residue, the report reads.

Both were charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, including two felony counts, police said.

They were arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court and were being held at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverside.
