Joseph G. Young

Joseph G. Young of Kings Park died Nov. 7, 2013. He was 61 years old.

Born in Brooklyn May 12, 1952, to Ann (Kaylor) and Joseph Young, he attended Bay Shore and Brentwood schools.

He enjoyed art and loved music, family members said.

Predeceased by his parents, Mr. Young is survived by his siblings, Candy and Kevin, both of upstate New York, Annie Lopez and Dawn, both of Utah, Guy, of Rocky Point, Robert, of Long Island, and Theresa Haskell of Washington State.

Visiting hours will take place Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck, followed at 11 a.m. by funeral services at Mattituck Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at Laurel Cemetery.
