Hey small business owners: are you taking advantage of all the tax benefits Uncle Sam offers?

If your answer is no — or if you’re not sure — the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce is hosting a luncheon in concert with New York City-based accounting firm Anchin Block & Anchin, detailing some exemptions or incentives that are being overlooked.

Some programs the firm will go over include Start Up New York, the Excelsior Tax Credit Program, Recharge New York, and tax credits for businesses that hire veterans.

The “Lunch and Learn” session, titled “Economic Incentives That Help Businesses Thrive,” will take place on Feb. 13 at noon, at Indian Island Golf Course’s Outerbanks restaurant. The cost is $22 for chamber members, and $30 for non-members. Email [email protected] to sign up.
