Photos — Another snowfall hits Riverhead

A winter storm warning remains in effect through 6 p.m. tonight after the area received a couple inches of heavy, wet snow overnight.

The precipitation has turned into rain in the early morning, and Highway Superintendent Gio Woodson said his crews will remain on the streets through the mid-afternoon to clear and salt the roads.
