Brett Chizever of Aquebogue has been voted Best Actor in a Musical in the 2013 BroadwayWorld Long Island Awards. 

He was recognized for his work last spring in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at North Fork Community Theatre in Mattituck. He played the title role in the musical based on the Old Testament story of Joseph and his coat of many colors.

Mr. Chizever was also a cast member of “Les Misérables” at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson, which won the Best Ensemble Performance award and was voted Best Musical.

The awards resulted from a regional online poll conducted by broadwayworld.com.
