Jean E. O’kula Nigosanti

Longtime Riverhead resident Jean E. O’kula Nigosanti of Westbrook, Conn., died Feb. 16, 2014, at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, Conn. She was 68.

She was the daughter of Joseph J. and Sophie O’kula of Riverhead. 

Ms. Nigosanti is survived by her daughters, Deborah Nigosanti of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Sharon Nigosanti of Westbrook and Susan Nigosanti of Middletown, and her grandchildren, Julianna and Jonathan Senn of Connecticut.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. that day at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. A reception will follow immediately at the Polish Town Civic Association.
