The Riverhead Town Planning Board once again postponed making a decision on Guddha LLC’s proposal to build a 24-seat, 3,200-square-foot restaurant on a .03 acre sliver of land on Route 58  in between Taco Bell and Harrison Avenue.

The board has postponed making a decision on that application four meetings in a row.

This time, applicant Chuck Chockalingham requested the adjournment because there wasn’t a full board, for the third straight meeting. This time, board vice chairman Joe Baier was absent.

Mr. Baier had previously voted in favor of the proposed restaurant, but if the five board members all maintain their prior votes, it will be defeated 2-3, with board members Ed Densieski, Stan Carey and Lyle Wells opposed, and Mr. Baier and board chairman Richard O’Dea in support.
