State police blotter: Drunken driving and stalking arrests

Amir Riaz, 51 of Riverhead was arrested on a drunken driving charge Saturday in Flanders, state police said.

Mr. Riaz was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 24, according to a police statement. He was found to be intoxicated and charged with DWI, police said.

He was released with a future court date in Southampton Town.

• Anthony Sacchitello, 20 of Riverhead was arrested for DWI in Riverhead Saturday, state police said.

Mr. Sacchitello was spotted by police driving without a seatbelt on Route 25, according to a police statement. His car was stopped and he was arrested and charged with DWI, police said.

He was released with a future court date in Riverhead Town.

• Joseph Booker, 41, was arrested on a warrant while appearing in Riverhead Town Justice Court on a “related incident,” police said. No additional information was available.

He was arraigned and released by the court, police said.
