Recap: Town board approves model airplane event

The Riverhead Town Board is set to vote on a resolution tonight to grant a permit to a model airplane organization that proposed an event for Aug. 15-17 on the southern portion of the unused runway on the southwest corner of EPCAL. Council members informally approved the event in February.
