Board to try again at ethics, term limits

liveblog

Riverhead Supervisor Sean Walter is keeping to his word.

After saying last week how he would pile on items on the work session agenda until they were resolved, this week features another long agenda. The Town Board is scheduled again to discuss old issues like term limits and prohibiting some elected officials from holding political party leadership posts, the fate of the Second Street firehouse, the sale of the East Lawn building and finding ways to fund additional public parking.

New items on the agenda include litter on Osborn Avenue, changes to the Town Code regarding small animal rehabilitation and the Peconic Estuary Program.

The meeting starts at 10 a.m. and News-Review reporter Tim Gannon will be live blogging. Click below to follow or comment, and the see the full agenda below that.
