Justice court report: Petty thief sentenced to 60 days

There were 325 cases on the docket in Riverhead Town Justice Allen Smith’s court, May 5-7. The following were among those adjudicated.

• Alexis Fields, 38, of Third Street in Riverhead pleaded guilty to two counts of petit larceny and was sentenced to 60 days in jail and fined $503.

• Tina Costello, 46, of Northville Turnpike pleaded guilty to two counts of petit larceny and one count of probation violation and was sentenced to 60 days in jail and fined $205.

• Nicholas Dolce, 51, of Carlls Path in Deer Park pleaded guilty to violation of probation and was sentenced to 60 days in jail.

• Timothy McCoy, 31, of Birchwood Road in Medford pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and was fined $1,200 and sentenced to three years’ probation.

• Jose Mendez, 51, of Riverleigh Avenue in Riverside pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and was fined $1,000.

• Salvatore Centore, 42, of Flanders Road in Riverside pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was fined $750.

• Juana Francisco, 28, of Fairway Avenue in Riverhead pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, reduced from endangering the welfare of a child, and was fined $250.

• Jennifer Burgess, 30, of Hubbard Avenue in Riverhead pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, reduced from seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, and was fined $250.

• A fourth-degree grand larceny charge against Lashone Artis, 42, of Cooke Street in Westhampton was dismissed in town court as he was indicted in county court.
