Wading River firefighters responded to 13 calls in March, according to figures released by Wading River Fire District officials this week, for a total of 47 calls on the year so far.

Here’s a breakdown of the number and types of fire calls the Wading River Fire Department responded to:

• Structure fires: 2
• Outside fires: 3
• Gas leaks: 1
• Automatic alarms: 7

• Sick: 10
• Stab/Gunshot wound: 1
• Abdominal pain: 3
• Back pain: 2
