Several marshes in Riverhead Town will be treated for mosquito larvae Tuesday, Suffolk County officials announced.

The county’s Division of Vector Control will treat Indian Island in Riverhead; Iron Point in Flanders; Overlook, Crescent Duck Farm, and Aquebogue Farm in Aquebogue; and Pier Avenue and Millar Farm in Jamesport by helicopter from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. using Vectobac 12 AS pesticide, officials said.

In the Town of Southold, aerial spraying is planned for Great Hog Neck in Southold, as well as New Suffolk marshes and Greenport locations at Kerwin Boulevard, Pipes Neck Creek and Pipes Cove, officials said.

If weather conditions prevent the scheduled work, officials said treatment will continue on the next suitable day.
