What a whirlwind weekend we had. My daughter graduated from Riverhead High School on Saturday and we held a party for her that evening. Thanks to everyone who helped out, especially my brothers, Frank, Danny and Mike, and my sister-in-law Kim. Thanks also to those who brought a dish and everyone who attended, and thanks to God for the perfect weather. Congratulations to the Class of 2014. Best wishes for a prosperous future!

Belated happy 60th wedding anniversary to former Flanders residents Mike and Lorraine Denicolo, who celebrated June 20. I’m sorry for not mentioning it in my last column. I take total responsibility for my error and hope this shout-out to two wonderful people makes up for my shortcoming. I hope you had an awesome anniversary!
