Cops: Man stole 80 shirts, wanted for grand larceny
Suffolk County Police are searching for someone who they said stole about 80 shirts from a store at the Tanger Outlet mall early last month.
According to police, a man — wanted for grand larceny — walked into Guess Factory Store around 5:20 p.m. on June 1 and took the shirts.
Police described the thief as Hispanic and about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He was wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt at the time of the incident, according to police.
Anyone with information about the arrest is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Information that leads to an arrest offers a cash reward of up to $5,000.
