Agatha Mary Lundwall

Agatha Mary Lundwall, a long time resident of Wading River, died July 29, 2014 at the age of 94.  

Agatha was born Aug. 15, 1919, in Brooklyn to James and Agatha (Schmidlin) Maloney.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, George; her loving daughter Judith Maki, and her brother James. Agatha is survived by her son George (Jeanne) Lundwall of Selden and her daughter Janis (Barry) Gilmore of Wading River; her six grandchildren Amy Seymour, Sarah Karlson, Kari Auer, Jeffrey Lundwall, Cynthia Quigley and John Maki; and her seven great-grandchildren Christian, Owen, Elliot, Gavin, Collin, Sean and Ryan.

The family received visitors July 31 at Alexander-Tuthill Funeral Home in Wading River, with a celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial taking place Aug. 1 at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Wading River. Deacon Fred Finter led the service. Interment followed at Wading River Cemetery.
