Cops: Speeding driver had 21 suspensions on license
A 44-year-old Riverhead woman was busted speeding in Riverside Monday night despite having 21 suspensions on her drivers license, Southampton Town police said.
Police said Julia Shoffner was stopped about 10:50 p.m. on Flanders Road, where a DMV search revealed that Ms. Shoffner’s license had been revoked, police said.
She was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed driving, a felony, police said.
Her arraignment information was not immediately available.
