Featured Letter: A great visit to downtown Riverhead

I had the pleasure of being in Riverhead over the weekend, volunteering for the triathlon for the third year running. 

On Sunday, my car sustained a flat in a parking lot and several of the triathlon staffers helped change my spare. On my way out of town, I noticed that Marathon Motors on West Main Street was open and I asked for their assistance. Because of the location of the flat, they were unable to fix it but advised me to replace the tire as soon as possible. They filled my spare with air and sent me on my way, no charge. Thanks to Masut and Mohammed: made my stay in Riverhead end on a happy note!

It was great to see Riverhead so very alive on Saturday night!
