Cops: Manorville man killed in motorcycle crash
A 22-year-old Manorville man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Mill Road Saturday night, Suffolk County police said.
Anthony Balbi was driving a 2012 Honda westbound on Mill Road, west of Edwards Avenue in Manorville, when it appears he couldn’t maneuver a turn, drove into the woods and struck a tree at approximately 6:05 p.m., police said.
Mr. Balbi was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where he died from his wounds, police said.
The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone who may have witnessed this crash is asked to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
