Riverhead News: Book discussion on ‘Ship Ablaze’ Aug. 26

Pat and John Kurpetski were pleasantly surprised when their son, John Henry, and their grandson, Logan, visited from Florida for 12 days. During that time they fished at Indian Island and went to Cupsogue Beach. They also enjoyed go-karting and playing laser tag and miniature golf with Logan’s uncle, Robert Kurpetski, his friend Jenn Wicks and her children. Logan also toured Garden of Eve with his great-uncle Tommy Kulesa, and visited Quogue Wildlife Refuge with his family. He also went swimming, visited his great-grandma, Bertha Kulesa, and spent some time with Bruce and Susie Young and their families at Hallockville’s tractor pull. And finally, all enjoyed a family barbecue at Pat and John’s house, which included Tommy and Donald Kulesa, Bertha Kulesa, and Robert and Jenn. All had a wonderful time and are looking forward to John Henry’s and Logan’s next visit.
