Burrito and queso lovers, rejoice! Moe’s Southwest Grill will open its Riverhead location tomorrow.
After several months of renovations at its new storefront on Route 58, the Mexican-style eatery will open at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25.
In addition, Moe’s will host a fundraiser for the Riverhead High School Boys Basketball Booster Club from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday with 50 percent of all sales benefiting the club.
“Residents on Long Island have come to love Moe’s and I believe the Riverhead community will also enjoy our fresh, made-to-order food and family-friendly atmosphere,” said franchise partner Guy Constantopolis, who also owns the Moe’s restaurants in Hampton Bays and Rocky Point and various area 7-Eleven stores. “We’re excited to introduce ourselves to a new community by supporting an organization that will truly benefit from this event.”
Earlier this year, Moe’s Southwest Grill announced plans to take over a 3,000-square-foot space that once housed Ground Round.
