Recap: Town Board discusses budget, Cases Creek dredging

The Riverhead Town Board discussed at its work session Thursday the 2015 town budget — which the supervisor must submit by Tuesday — and the possibility of dredging Cases Creek in Aquebogue for the first time in many years.

Liability concerns stemming from the condition of a neighboring bulkhead have lead to the county’s reluctance to dredge the creek.
