Cops: Three Riverside men arrested on robbery charges

Southampton Town police have arrested three Riverside men in connection with a robbery that took place at a residence on Vail Avenue in Riverside on Sunday night, according to a press release.

Ademi Velasquez-Nij, 30, Santos Estrada-Sinay, 28, and Adonias Estrada-Sinay, 26, knocked on the victim’s door at around 5 p.m., stole a cell phone and fled the scene, police said.

Police later found the suspects and charged them with second-degree robbery, officials said.

They were arraigned at Southampton Justice Court on Monday, police said. Santos Estrada-Sinay was remanded to jail in lieu of $10,000 bail and Mr. Velasquez-Nij was remanded to jail in lieu of $500 bail, police said.

Adonias Estrada-Sinay was released on $5,000 bail, officials said.
