A remarkable season for the Shoreham-Wading River football team came to an end Sunday night at Stony Brook University. The Wildcats capped a 12-0 season with a 47-13 win over Roosevelt in the Class IV Long Island Championship. 

Quarterback Danny Hughes rushed for three touchdowns and threw for another.
