Police looking for suspected burglar

Police are looking for a suspected burglar who broke into a Calverton store early Friday and stole cash, Riverhead Town Police said. 

The owner of Bean and Bagel on Route 25 called in the robbery at 2:41 a.m. stating that someone had smashed the west-side entrance door and took an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

Officers responded with a K-9 unit and were able to recover some of the money left behind, but there have been no arrests.
