Mary J. Danowski

Mary J. Danowski of Riverhead died Dec. 4 at her home. She was 94.

She was born July 27, 1920, in Jamesport to Mary (Mizieski) and Antone Sobocinski. Family member said she was a homemaker.

Predeceased by her husband Thomas, she is survived by her daughters, Gloria Broderick of Massachusetts and Ruthann of Vermont; her sons Richard, of New York and Thomas, of Texas; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family received visitors Monday, Dec. 8, at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service was held Tuesday, Dec. 9, at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment took place at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church Cemetery.
