David H. Milligan

David H. Milligan of Riverhead died at his home Dec. 26 after a long illness. He was 66.

He was born Dec. 6, 1948, in Greenport to Caroline (Kenney) and Arthur Milligan. He married Cindy Harris May 19, 2001.

Mr. Milligan worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Riverhead. Family members said he was a car buff.

Predeceased by his brothers, William and Arthur Jr., he is survived by his wife and his siblings, Vivian Adams of Bossier, La., Joan Haught of Valparaiso, Fla., Caroline McCartin of Calverton, Ross of Aquebogue, Robert of Harpursville, N.Y., W. Thomas of Irving, Texas, and Janine Benedict of East Moriches.

The family received visitors Dec. 30 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A memorial service was held Dec. 31 at the funeral home. Interment took place at St. Isidore R.C. Cemetery in Riverhead.
