Regina Denely
Regina Denely of Riverhead died Jan. 6 at Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation in Southampton. She was 95.
She was born July 8, 1919, in Oyster Bay to Marguerite (Himes) and Thomas Denely.
Family members said she was a homemaker who had volunteered as a Pink Lady at Central Suffolk Hospital in Riverhead (now Peconic Bay Medical Center).
Ms. Denely is survived by two sons, Peter and David Wulforst of Calverton; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors Friday, Jan. 9, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A Mass of Christian burial will take place the same day at 11 a.m. at St. Isidore R.C. Church, also in Riverhead. Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
