Stanley J. Trojanowski

Former Riverhead resident Stanley J. Trojanowski of Fairfield, Conn., died Dec. 16, 2014. He was 92. 

Mr. Trojanowski was born June 26, 1922, in Brooklyn to Sophie and Walter Trojanowski. He had been employed by Remington as a warehouse manager.

Family members said he was an avid fan of Shelton and Fairfield high school sports and loved watching University of Connecticut basketball and New York Yankees baseball.

Predeceased by his wife, Bertha (Krukoski) Trojanowski, Mr. Trojanowski is survived by his son, Robert, of Shelton, Conn.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Frances Sadowski. He was also predeceased by his brother, Theodore.

Funeral services took place Dec. 19, 2014, at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home in Trumbull, Conn. A Mass of Christian Burial followed at Holy Cross Church in Fairfield. Interment took place at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield.
