Two men were arrested on a slew of drug charges after police executed a search warrant at a house in Riverhead Friday afternoon, authorities said.

The 2 p.m. raid at 17 Wilson Avenue in the Millbrook Gables neighborhood off East Main Street came as part of an East End Drug Task Force investigation into alleged drug sales at the residence, Riverhead Town police said.

Police arrested Robert Mahoney, 26, and Darius Mims, 24, who live at the house, and recovered unspecified quantities of crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, the painkiller suboxone and cash, police said.

Task force members were assisted by town police, county police and sheriff’s deputies, including two K-9 units.

Mr. Mahoney was also arrested as part of a task force investigation in 2012.

Friday’s raid comes just weeks after another East End Drug Task Force search warrant was executed at an Oakland Drive North house in Riverhead.

The arrest of Darius Strong, 35, at that house was the latest in an East End Drug Task Force investigation that stretched back to May 2013 and netted over a dozen arrests thus far — with more expected.
