The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce elected its new leaders at its recent membership meeting, selecting Great Rock Golf Course general manager Brian Curtin as its new president.

Mr. Curtin, who left Shinnecock Hills in Southampton in 2008 to come to the Wading River golf course and has served as its general manager since, will replace Tracy Stark-James as president.

He said in 2015, he aims to “grow our relationship with town hall and to be a voice for our business community. By listening to the needs of the small and large businesses in our area,  we can better serve our elected leaders by being a direct link between them and the businesses they serve.”

The chamber also brought two new board of director members on in Long Ireland Beer Co. co-owner Greg Martin, as well as Andy Calimano, co-owner of Starfish Junction.

Ike Isreal of Richmond Realty was named director at-large, while Robert Kern, of 2XS Consulting will serve as first vice president.
