Board holds hearings on Sonoma Grill, Baiting Hollow house

liveblog

The Riverhead Town Board is scheduled to hold a public hearing Tuesday on the tavern permit for the new Sonoma Grill planned at the former Riverhead Project site in downtown Riverhead. The tavern permit is a requirement for live music.

The board also will have a continuation of the public hearing on the proposal to require Eugene LaFurno to legalize an expansion on his Baiting Hollow home the town says he built illegally. The first hearing the board held on this issue took about an hour.

Although it’s not listed on the agenda, the board also may vote to untable a resolution to hire Pataki-Cahill Group to market the Enterprise Park at Calverton. The board discussed that issue at its work session Thursday and appeared ready to approve it.

Tuesday’s meeting starts at 2 p.m. and News-Review reporter Tim Gannon will be live blogging. Click below to follow and/or comment and scroll down for the full meeting agenda and resolution packet.
