Joseph M. Doroski

Lifetime Wading River resident Joseph M. Doroski died suddenly March 14 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 64. 

The son of Stanley and Mary Doroski, Mr. Doroski served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Korea and was a a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was a director of Polish Hall in Riverhead and served as an usher at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Wading River.

Predeceased by his uncle, Bernie Wiwczar and aunts Barbara and Trudy Wiwczar and Stella Havens, Mr. Doroski is survived by his uncles, Michael, Raymond, Daniel and Walter Wiwczar; and several cousins.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, March 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Alexander-Tuthill Funeral Home in Wading River. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Wading River. Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cutchogue.
