Water District to begin flushing water mains Sunday

Riverhead Water District will begin flushing water mains Sunday, April 19, and will continue doing so through Sunday, May 10. 

Most of the work will be done during the evening. Residents are advised to check the water before doing any washing. If it is discolored, it should be run for several minutes, until it runs clear. If it does not run clear, wait for awhile and try it again.
