Nancy Doris deLoiselle

Lifelong Cutchogue resident Nancy Doris deLoiselle died April 18, 2015 in Framingham, Mass. She was born Oct. 17, 1937, in Lynbrook to Henry and Lura (née Abrams) Krueger and was a graduate of Southold High School

On Nov. 22, 1969, she married Kenneth C. deLoiselle in Southold.

She had been a manager for New York Telephone Company.

Nancy was a lifetime member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to travel with her husband spending winters at their second home on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

An avid gardener, she was an especially talented knitter who made sweaters for her entire family.

She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving wife and aunt.

Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth C. deLoiselle and her sister, Carole Ann Scholl; she is survived by two nephews, Thomas (Terri) Scholl of Westbourough, Mass. and Donald (Cynthia) Scholl of Cornwall, N.Y. and her much loved grandnieces and grandnephews, Lauren, Claire, Matthew and Jake.

The family will receive visitors Friday, May 8, from 9 to 10 a.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold. A private family ceremony will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cutchogue Fire Department Rescue Squad, 260 New Suffolk Road, Cutchogue, NY 11935.
