As a corporate sponsor of the Riverhead Rotary, we at northforker and our parent company Times Review Media Group would like to give a big thank you to everyone who made Rotary Uncorked a success for 2015. The annual event is a fundraiser and this year’s recipients were local food pantries.

About 320 tickets were sold and the event raised about $30,000, according to Pat Wiles, the event committee co-chairman and vice president at Farm Credit East.

“I thought everything worked out really well,” Wiles said. “We certainly put a huge thank you out to the businesses [that donate their products and services] that make it a great success.”

The program, featuring wine and food tastings from local vineyards and restaurants, was held at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead on Wednesday, May 20.

Participating wineries, breweries, ciders and restaurants at the event included the following businesses: Jerry and the Mermaid, Lobster Roll Northside, Desmond’s, Phil’s, Farm Country Kitchen, Holy Schmitt’s Homemade Horseradish, Lombardi’s Love Lane Market, Roadhouse Brick Oven Pizza, Sang Lee Farms, Panera Bread, Buoy One, Maple Tree BBQ, Goodale Farms, Grana, Sannino Bella Vita Vineyard, Scarola Vineyards, Shinn Estate Vineyard, Coffee Pot Cellars, Paumanok Vineyards, Diliberto Winery, Sparkling Pointe, Woodside Orchards, Starbucks and L.I. Pour House.

If we forgot anyone, please tell us in the comments.
