Clerks at two local stores were busted Saturday in a police sting operation that found the clerks sold alcohol to minors, Riverhead Town police said.

Two of those stores were found to be in violation of selling alcohol to patrons under the age of 21, police said.

Parvez Ahmad, 50, of Medford was arrested at the 7-Eleven gas station on Route 58 in Riverhead, officials said.

Shah Nadeemul Hasan, 42, of Middle Island was arrested at Valero on Route 25A in Wading River, officials said.

Both men were charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, police said.
