Cops: One man arrested for burglary, second suspect still at large

Riverhead police arrested a Flanders man for allegedly breaking into a Riverhead home early Tuesday morning and are on the hunt for a second suspect, according to a press release. 

A resident on East Second Street reported that two people entered his home at 1:05 a.m., stole items and fled on foot, police said. Responding officers located Miguel Pacajoj, 39, a short distance away and he matched the description of one of the suspects. Mr. Pacajoj was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, police said.

Police said the second suspect remains at large and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 631-727-4500. A description of the second suspect was not provided.

Mr. Pacajoj was transported to police headquarters and held for arraignment.
