Local insurance agent receives community award

Riverhead Allstate Insurance agent Elizabeth Hanlon was awarded the Agency Hands in the Community Award for her commitment to volunteering in the community. The Riverhead Rotary Charities, Inc., where Ms. Hanlon volunteers, received a $1,000 grant from the Allstate Foundation.

Don Rubbo, New York regional sales leader at Allstate Insurance Company, described Ms. Hanlon as an active and respected member of the business community.

“She also makes it a priority to dedicate her time and efforts to make a difference in people’s lives,” Mr. Rubbo said in a press release. “Elizabeth exemplifies the full spectrum of what it means to be an Allstate agent and has truly become a name and face in her community.”
