Cops: Teen punched, robbed at park in Riverhead
A teenager was punched and robbed at a park in Riverhead Friday and police are asking for the public’s help to find the suspect.
The 14-year-old victim was at the park on North Oakland Drive when the suspect hit him in the face and stole $70, police said.
The victim was treated at Peconic Bay Medical Center and released, officials said.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens, about 6-feet tall with a medium build, police said.
