Cops: Six arrests made over holiday weekend

Riverhead Town Police arrested six people over Labor Day weekend as part of the department’s Stop-DWI campaign. The enforcement ran from 4 p.m Friday until 4 a.m. Tuesday, police said. 

Police arrested:

Diane Iaccarino, 51, of Dix Hills for aggravated driving while intoxicated at 11:35 a.m. on Saturday.

Raul Jimenez, 31, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. for DWI at 10:54 p.m. on Saturday.

Mateus Zygmunt Pieta, 17, of Riverhead for driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminal possession of marijuana and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 2:09 a.m. Sunday.

Marie A. Harnandez, 32, of Jamesport for DWI at 2:21 a.m. Sunday.

Jose E. Solano, 28, of Cutchogue for DWI at 12:50 a.m Monday.

Katelyn A. Abrahamson, 23, of Mount Sinai for aggravated DWI at 1:03 a.m. Tuesday.

All six people were processed at police headquarters and held for arraignment, police said.

The Riverhead Police Department plans to continue Stop-DWI enforcement throughout the rest of the year and especially during holiday weekends, according to a press release.
