Photos: At Riverhead’s Senior Center, Halloween comes early

Riverhead Town seniors celebrated Halloween Friday morning with a costume party and dancing to the music by DJ Tom Parris at the Senior/Human Resource Center in Aquebogue. 

It was part of what they call “Fun Fridays.”

Awards were handed out for the best costume. First place went to Emma Pughielli as “Uncle Sam.” Second place went to Joe Lombardino of Riverhead as “Big Daddy” and third place went to Janet Reiter of Calverton as a “witch.”

The winners received cash prizes of $15, $10 and $5.
