Featured letter: Drug bust won’t be the last in the area

Federal agents with the Drug Enforcement Agency recently — with bigger things to come.

Robert Caspers, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District, said in a statement that they are “in combat,” that it’s “an epidemic in abuse.”

And in the opinion of some in the know, it’s only the tip of the iceberg of what’s taking place in our regional “small-town America.” And that doesn’t include what is yet to be uncovered — big-time!

The illegal drug-trafficking crackdown has only just begun on the East End — and it’s about time. All lives matter.
