Christopher P. Patti

Riverhead resident Christopher P. Patti, formerly of Northport, died Nov. 17 at St. Catherine of Sienna Hospital in Smithtown. He was 87. 

Born May 23, 1928, in Brooklyn, he was the son of Rosina (Conti) and Joseph Patti.

Mr. Patti served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952. He worked as a mechanic for TWA at John F. Kennedy Airport in Queens.

Family members said he enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing.

Predeceased by his sister, Mary O’Malley in 2011, Mr. Patti is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Philomena (née Cialone); his son, Christopher, of Riverhead; his daughter, Rosemary Grande of Farmingville; his brother, Joseph, of New Jersey and six grandchildren.

The family received visitors  Nov. 19 at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service was held Nov. 20 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead, officiated by Father Larry Duncklee. Burial took place at Calverton National Cemetery.
