Town Board discusses 162-unit assisted living project

The Riverhead Town Board will discuss Concordia Senior Communities’ proposed assisted living complex on Mill Road at its work session Thursday morning. Concordia has submitted a new version of the proposal which reduces the number of units from 189 to 162 compared to the proposal two years ago, which failed to gain support from the Town Board. It also makes some other changes to the 25-acre plan, just north of Home Depot.

The board will also discuss changes to the Town Code section on beaches and recreation centers and will review draft resolutions for next Tuesday’s meeting.

The meeting starts at 10 a.m. and News-Review reporter Tim Gannon will be live blogging. Click below to comment or follow and scroll down for the full agenda.
