Riverhead blotter: Hoverboard stolen from Route 58 store
A Roam Electric Scooter, also known as a hoverboard, was reported stolen from Bed, Bath and Beyond on Route 58 last Tuesday afternoon. The scooter is valued at $500, according to police.
• Willie Bryant, 34, of Riverside, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and second-degree harassment Sunday afternoon on Peconic Bay Boulevard in Aquebogue.
Officials say Mr. Bryant bit a police officer’s hand during an arrest. Additional information was not available.
• A gray 2002 Hyundai was reported stolen from a home on Baiting Hollow Lane in Calverton Sunday afternoon.
• A 2009 Jeep Liberty was reported stolen from a home on Locust Road in Wading River Saturday afternoon.
• Wilmer Amador-Hernandez, 35, of Jamesport was charged with driving while intoxicated following his arrest on Lincoln Street in Riverhead Sunday afternoon.
• Michelle Wilson and Janet Forgione were both charged with petit larceny on Friday afternoon at Walmart on Route 58. Additional information was not available.
• Two inflatable Santas valued at $80 were reported stolen from a home on Washington Avenue in Jamesport Monday night at about 6 p.m.
